Scroll down to contact Congress and ensure ALL Americans have access to nature!
Spending just 17 minutes in nature can boost our mental and physical health… but over 100 million Americans—including 28 million children—live over 20 minutes away from their nearest public park.
That’s why we’re supporting the Outdoors For All Act , a Senate bill that wants to close the accessibility gap to nature. The Outdoors for All Act would provide funding, resources, and opportunities that connect all Americans to nature, especially lower-income and underserved communities previously left out of park access plans.
The Outdoors For All Act is bipartisan, and specifically targets the urban areas where 80% of Americans live. It also provides special grant access to American Indian, Alaska Native, and Native Hawaiian communities. (Land Back? Not quite, but it’s a start.)
Want to get involved? Take your first steps: Fill out the below form to ask Senator Manchin and Senator Barrasso (who chair the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee) to support the Outdoors For All Act, and help all Americans have free and easy access to the great outdoors. (Also, VOTE!)
